How Color Affects your Cards: Pumpkin Spice Gnome 2 Ways

Hello it's Kari today with two cards and two colorways to share! Have you ever noticed how much color can affect your cards? Cool colors offer calm feelings, while warmer & brighter colors are more energizing!

Today I have a video showing you the differences in two cards, just changing the colors a little for a completely different look.

Easy Masking and Stenciling with the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set

I love the versatility of the Miss Ink Stamps Fall Bouquet Stamp Set! I have this easily stamped, masked, and stenciled card to share with you today!

I love that the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set can be used with or without the stems. I used a stamp positioning tool to hang the floral bouquet off of the bottom left of my card, stamp it, and then rotate my cardstock so I could stamp in the same position on the opposite corner. I used Copic Markers to color in my images.

I stamped the same image from the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set onto masking paper twice and cut them out right up against the stamped line and placed the masks over the colored images. I adhered the Leafy Green Stencil over my card base and blended on two shades of brown ink. When I removed the masks I have a perfectly masked one layer background!

I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Fall Bouquet Stamp Set onto brown cardstock and die cut it with a stitched circle and adhered it to the center of the card. That's all! See you soon!

Alice in Wonderland Layered Stenciled Card

Hi! I'm sharing an easy layered stenciled look with you today using new stencils from Miss Ink Stamps! And this card is full of all kinds of Alice goodness! There's nothing better than that!

Be sure to watch the video above! It's so easy to create a "stencil within a stencil" look! I used the new Knock Knock Stencil Set along with the Floral Stained Glass Stencil. It's not a background from me without some ink in the background!

I colored some images from the Alice Stamp Set and added them with foam tape along with a stamped sentiment from the Wonderland Wisdom Stamp Set to finish the card!

The Queen's Haunted House!

Hello everyone, it's Kari here today with a fun change to the Queen's Castle! Today I am turning the castle into a Haunted House. This pairs perfectly with the cute trick-or-treaters from Boo Crew.

Big Mugs Shaker Card

Hey, there! I have some shaker inspiration for you today! I used the Latte Love sequins with some new stamps from the Miss Ink Stamps Autumn release!

My favorite thing to do with sequins is create shaker cards! Shakers are easy and fun to make! I created a simple background with ink blending and made a frame from white cardstock and filled up my shaker with White Latte Sequins.

I stamped the gnome from the Big Mugs Stamp Set and colored him in with Copic Markers and trimmed him out with scissors. I love the Pumpkin Spice Stamp Set because you can create virtually any Autumn sentiment you need!

I die cut a stitched shape and added my gnome and sentiment on top. I added some clear glitter and enamel shapes for accents to finish the card. See you soon!
