Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, back with a new blog post. Can you believe this year is almost over? Before I continue on with my Holiday cards, I wanted to create a fun scene using the 'Kick Some Grass' stamp set.
The set features an image of a dog kicking some grass. And I thought the image would pair perfectly with the Bury the Body stamp set so that it looked like the dog was burying something. Perhaps, helping you hide all the new stamp sets you ordered?
I first stamped out my Images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then fussy cut them out and set them to the side.
I then took an A2 panel and blended it with the Night Sky Stencil set with Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides. I splattered white watercolor over this panel.
I then took another A2 panel and die cut out a hill piece using a die I had in my stash. I blended this piece with Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides. I then took the sentiment and heat embossed it onto a sentiment strip and trimmed it down.
I then adhered all my elements using liquid adhesive and foam tape for the dog to complete my card.
