Hello, this is Randy and I am so excited to be a part of the Miss Ink Stamps Design Team! For my first card, I wanted to recreate one of my favorite scenes featuring those pesky pixies!
I first stamped out the images from the Dark Arts and So Charming stamp sets. I then used the coordinating die sets available here and here to die cut them out. I used Copic Markers to color all of the images.
To create my background, I die cut out the Castle Arches die set and blended them with Weathered Wood and Black Soot Distress Oxides.
I took a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down to fit behind the frame. I marked off where the floor was going to be and blended the brick floor from the Perspective Floor stencil using Hickory Smoke and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides. I blended the remaining space with the Stone Wall stencil with Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides.
I assembled my cards by adding the two characters and the pixies to the panel using foam tape and liquid adhesive.
To complete my card, I heat embossed the "You're the top of the class" sentiment too pink cardstock and trimmed it down.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post today. I am so excited to share more inspiration with the amazing Miss Ink Stamp sets. Until next time, happy crafting!
