Hello and welcome to the Miss Ink Stamps' blog; it's Rick back with you again today to share an easy framed warm winter wishes scene card. For my card toady I used the Warm Winter Wishes Stamp Set, the Scene Builder: Treeline Stencil, and the Woodgrain Frame Die to create the scene.
I started out by masking off the horizon line with low tack tape. I then placed the Scene Builder: Treeline Stencil along the horizon line and started the ink blending process. I created four rows of trees and shifted the stencil with each row. I then removed the stencil and low tack tape. I replaced the low tack tape above the horizon line to add a little shadowing to the snow. Once this was completed I stamped and colored the snow people from the Warm Winter Wishes Stamp Set. I colored the images with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Brush Markers and fussy cut it out.
Once I had the coloring completed I cut the woodgrain frame from Kraft cardstock using the Woodgrain Frame Die. To add a little more interest to the frame I brushed gold pigment ink across to bring out the detail and add a little interest to the card. I then assembled the card.
