Foiling with a Stencil Mask

Foiling with a Stencil Mask

Hello! It's Kari with a new card and video. Today I'm foiling with a stencil mask...using the Quatrefoil Stencil and Mask.

Watch the video in HD on YouTube:

For the stencil, I first masked using the Ins and Outs Quatrefoil stencil, then used the Large Random Dots Stencil and spread some DecoFoil Gel Duo over the top.  I set that aside to dry as I worked on the flowers.

The magnolias from the Magnolia Frame Die set are easy to put together! I used Copic markers to add detail and shadows.

The sentiments come from the Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set (another one of my favorites!) The flamingos are from the Croquet stamp set.

Once the gel was dry, I added foil and ran it through the mini minc. I made 2 panels...so why not make 2 cards? Then I used the Ins and Outs Quatrefoil stencil to add some ink to the background. Watch the video to see how do do this! I love a stencil with multiple uses...it's great for masking and stenciling! There is also a frame stencil as a part of this set (which I didn't use for this card).

I hope you enjoyed this video and card project today! See you soon with more to share,

Kari
