For Somebunny Special

For Somebunny Special

Hello there, Christine here. I have a springtime card that could be used for Easter or really anytime in Spring using the Art Deco Stencil, the Springtime Banner stamp set and the Springtime Bunnies stamp set.

First I die cut an A2 panel with a stitched rectangle die I had in my stash and taped off the outer border. I then ink blended with distress oxide ink in dried marigold over the Art Deco stencil and immediately added sparkle paste (Couture Creations) over the inked areas. I set the panel aside to dry overnight and immediately washed the stencil. In the photo below, you can see the amount of texture and shine that it provides to the card!

While the panel was drying, I die cut all the images from the Springtime Banner stamp set with my Brother Cut N' Scan2 and did some simple copic coloring. The leaves either got colored with G24/G28 or YG67/YG63 and the banner was uncolored, and the nest was colored with E57 and E35.  I die cut all bunnies from the Springtime Bunnies stamp set in the same way I did with the banner stamp set. I did simple copic coloring the eggs were colored with R20, R30 and R00 and the bunnies were colored with W3 and W0.

I die cut both the stenciled panel and some vellum with a rectangle stitched die I had in my stash. I spent most of my time laying everything in place and reworking how everything would be adhered- I only adhere once everything is in place and the way I like it.  I added a sentiment from the Springtime Bunnies stamp set, some sequins and gems.

I hope that you like it!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
