Hello! It's Kari here with another video and set of cards to share. Today I'm making Valentine cards: Love You More Than Socks and Perfect Match! Watch the video below or on YouTube:
Today I started with the Socks stencil and created three panels: one with two layers of ink, and two with pastes as the second layer. This gave me some fun options for my cards!
I used the Classic Knit stencil to dry emboss a design on my panel. You might not be able to see this well in the photo, but I share the close up in the video!
Next, I cut out my letters with the EIEIO Frame Die alpha using some glittery foam. I love a glittery foam, have you tried it? I also cut a black shadow layer for each letter.
The SWAK postage Hearts die makes for a great place to put my stamped sentiment. I used the Punny Farm stamp set, which has two different sizes of alphabets to use! I love alpha stamps and dies, they let you create any punny sentiment you want!
The next card features one of my favorite sentiments from the Laundry Love stamp set: I love you more than socks!
I don't know about you, but I really DO LOVE SOCKS! Especially holiday socks.
I used layers of the frame dies from that EIEIO Frame Die set for this one and the remaining sock patterned panels that I had left. I finished it off with some clay hearts.
