Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, welcome back to the blog. It’s finally that time of year, May 4th! And I am so honored that this year, this special day falls on my day for the blog, so of course I had to create a card for this occasion.
For this card, I am featuring the Just Sayings They Are Not stamp set and the limited edition Beep Boop Bot layering stencil set that is back just for a limited time.
I first ink blended out my bot using distress oxide inks and then I trimmed it out of the cardstock For my background,
I wanted to create a desert background so I took an A2 panel and die cut out a desert landscape piece from a die that I had in my stash. I ink blended this piece with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Oxides.
I then took another A2 panel and ink blended it with Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Ember and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides.
I then heat embossed the sentiments onto teal cardstock and trimmed them down.
I assembled the card by adhering my two background pieces together using liquid adhesive. I then added my bot and sentiments using foam tape.
