Mixing It Up - Blitzened!

Welcome back!  I've got some holiday fun for you today using the new Blitzened stamp set along with Java Joe!  I've had this idea in my head for a while and it is one that had me giggling in my craft room.

I started by cutting a panel of Copic friendly paper and using my Misti, I stamped the cafe from Java Joe onto the center.  Then I used the little brick images and stamped them randomly around to form my City building.  When done stamping I used a fine tip alcohol marker to draw lines from the cafe to the end of the paper.

I stamped and fussy cut the deer, wine glasses and bottle from Blitzened and the champagne glasses from the Happy Near Year set and then colored all of my images and background.  When I colored the deer, there is white space between the deer and the string of lights ... I colored that in the same color as my cement background so it would look more like it was cut out.  I covered the coffee cups that are on the image from Java Joe with small green rectangles and then added the wine glasses.  I covered the sign that says coffee with the Blitzened word from the Blitzened set and then added the champagne glasses at the top as part of the sign.

And that's how I turned the Cafe from Java Joe into a bar at the North Pole.  I like to think that after Christmas is over Santa and all of his helpers take the time to let off a little steam and have fun... although this reindeer maybe had a little too much fun!
