Mixing It Up - Ins & Outs

Mixing It Up - Ins & Outs

Welcome back!  Today I'm sharing with you a card I made using the new Rub A Dub Doggies stamp set along with some fabulous stencils from the shop!  The new Ins & Outs Masking Stencils are SO fun and versatile!  You are gonna love them!
One of the things I love about these sets is the extra embossed lines that help you line the stencil up with the panel you are blending onto.  Mine was already die cut and I lined it up with the inside rectangle.
I started with the Marquis Ins & Outs Stencil and used some Pixie Spray on the back of the stencil to keep it in place.  Then I blended some clouds within the frame opening using the Scene Builder: Clouds stencil.
Then I used the Scene Builder Stencil clouds to create some green hills.
And the center piece from the Ins & Outs: Victorian to create a little less hilly hill in front.
Finally, I lined up the outside frame again, but this time I lined up my ink blended scene area to line it up just in case I was a little off the first time.  More important to have the outline lined up with the inside frame.  I blended some of the blue I used for the cloudy sky and then added some Glitz Glitter Gel.
So fun!  And you know how I love frames.. no foam tape needed for this one!
All that was left to do was stamp, cut and color my images and add them to the scene.  Almost sad to cover up that background... but.... these pups are so cute who cares!?!
And I always love to add a few images with my sentiment and the bubbles are perfect for that!
And in case you wanted these...
That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon for more Miss Ink Stamps Inspiration!
