Hi crafty friends, DT Randy here with a new blog post featuring the Dumpster Fire stamp and die set that was just recently released. I wanted to create a fun scene where some of the raccoons were using the various fires to heat their marshmallows for their s'mores.
I first stamped out my images from the Dumpster Fire stamp set and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color all of the images.
To create my background, I took an A2 panel and masked off the bottom fourth of the panel with low tack tape. I then took the Brick stencil and blended it with Aged Mahogany and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxides.
I then removed my tape and blended onto the bottom portion Weathered Wood and Black Soot Distress Oxides.
I arranged my images onto my panel and blended Scattered Straw Distress Oxide onto the panel, where the dumpster was going to be.
Before I adhered all of the images, I heat embossed my sentiment onto my card using embossing ink and white embossing powder.
I then adhered all of my images onto the panel using foam tape and liquid adhesive.
Check out this Dumpster Fire stamp set and so many other fabulous new sets, available in the shop. Happy Crafting!
