Sneak Peek: So Charming & Ups and Downs

Sneak Peek: So Charming & Ups and Downs

Hello everyone! Justin here, and I am so excited to be sharing a sneak peek today of TWO brand new stamp sets that will be available in the Miss Ink Stamps store tomorrow! I am showing off the So Charming stamp set, which is where this haphazard student and sentiment comes from, along with the Ups and Downs stamp set, which had me create this awesome background!

Miss Ink Stamps Products Used:
So Charming Stamp Set
Ups and Downs Stamp Set
Other Key Products Used:
Copic Markers
Distress Inks: Candied Apple, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed & Vintage Photo
Prima Watercolor Accents
Not So Heavy Metal Sequins
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
Colored Cardstock
I have a brief tutorial to share on how I put this card together!
I started by coloring up my image with Copic Markers, and then cutting them out to use for later. I also stamped out my sentiment onto some Kraft Cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, trimmed it into a sentiment strip, and then distressed the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
For my background, I stamped out the background image onto blending paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. Once dry, I die cut my background using a stitched rectangle die from my stash. I blended over the background with Candied Apple, Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks to create an ombré inspired by this students living quarters. I spritzed some water over the background and splattered some gold metallic watercolor.
I adhered my background to an A2-sized piece of red cardstock. I then adhered my student and sentiment with foam tape, and some sequins using liquid adhesive.
And there you have it! A magically amazing A2-sized card giving you a special look at 2 brand new sets that will be conjured up in the Miss Ink Stamps store tomorrow!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by my Instagram and my personal blog for more inspiration!
Happy Crafting!
