Valentine's Day Card for Your "Favorite Hooman"

Hello crafty friends, welcome back to the blog and Happy New Year! DT Randy here and now that the holidays are over, it's time to think about Valentine's Day cards. I really wanted to create a card using the adorable dog from the Slim's Whims stamp set.

I first stamped out my images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then fussy cut them out, including the inside of the glasses.

I took an A2 panel and blended it with Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Lumberjack Plaid and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides.

I then took the Lucky Dog stencil and blended it with Abandoned Coral and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxides. On the panel, I splattered it with white and gold watercolor.

I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of blue cardstock using embossing ink and white embossing powder. One the sentiment was embossed, I trimmed it down into a sentiment strip.

I then adhered the accessories onto the dog using liquid adhesive. After, I took the sentiment strip and the dog and adhered it to my panel using foam tape.

You can find both the stamp and stencil and so many other sets that can be used for Valentine's Day cards in the shop. Happy Crafting and have an amazing New Year!
