Whole Latte Love

Hello Miss Inkers, Ali here on the blog today with some interactive, light-up, coffee card goodness! I've used Java Joe's to make this fun coffee card with a light-up coffee shop - adorable!

I began by creating a background by brushing Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks through the Leafy Green Stencil. I adhered a piece of kraft card in the position where the coffee shop was going to sit. I cut a shannel vertically in this piece also so that I could thread my EZ light battery through so that it could be positioned on the back of this panel once my card was assembled.

I stamped, fussy cut and copic colored the images. I cut pieces (the coffee sign at the top and the inner door panels) from the shop image, with a scalpel. I Stamped the coffee shop image again on some vellum with Versafine ink and clear embossed it. I cut out the vellum image and adhered to the back of the colored coffee shop image.

I used the EZ-Lights from Pear Blossom Press to position lights behind the door panels and coffee sign of the coffee shop and secured with some tape. I also placed 3D foam on the back of the coffee shop image. I threaded the battery panel through the hole previously created and secured to the back of the panel so that it sat to the left of the coffee shop when viewed from the front. I adhered the images as shown and stamped the plant pot that was positioned over the switch button of the EZ Light with 'press here' (from Heffy Doodle Stamps Interactively Yours stamp set).

I stamped and white embossed the sentiment from the Brewtiful Stamp set onto black card and cut into strips, adhering to the front.

I adhered the panel to a kraft card base with 2 layers of 3D foam to finish.

Hope you have a wonderful crafty day!

Ali xx
