Goose and Gosling Card Tutorial

Hello, it's Kari with a Goose and Gosling card tutorial to share with a simple stenciling technique.

Watch the video below or on YouTube:

You might be surprised to see where I found this goose and gosling, but when I spotted them, I just KNEW they needed a card of their own! They're from the Some Pig stamp set!

I started by stamping and die cutting the 2 characters. I used a bit of copic markers to color them up a bit.

Next, I stenciled on the new Floral Mandala stencil using a radiating stencil technique and Distress Oxides.

Then, I cut out multiple "Hi" dies from the Hi Swirl Frame Die set; I also cut out the shadow of the hi with some diamond glitter cardstock.

If you look closely, you can see a few faint polka dots on the Hi sentiment, I used this stencil to add them and I think it's the perfect, fun touch!

This Hi Swirl Frame Die set also has some cute little flowers, leaves, and branches and I thought they would look so lovely as a bold accent on this card. I cut them from black cardstock, and then sandwiched them in between the shadow layer and the multi-layered HI sentiment.

For the frame, I used my ever-favorite Postage Seal and Shaker Collection. If you don't have this die set, you might want to put in on your wish list: there is SO MUCH  you can do with it! I used the largest postage frame in white for this card.

I added some sparkling clear embellishments to the front of the card; and white gel pen accents to the leaves and flowers.

That's it! Isn't it fun?!

I hope you enjoyed this project today! I'll be back soon with more cards to share!

Kari
