Alice in Halloweentown

Alice in Halloweentown

Hello! It's Kari with a new video to share using Alice images and creating a Halloween scene. With 3 simple steps, you can create a Halloween card with non-Halloween images.

I really enjoyed making this card using the Alice and Tea Party stamp sets. I think I am just SO EXCITED for the new Alice Collection to arrive (next week....EEP!!) and I wanted to create a Halloween scene for Alice.

Here's 3 steps to creating a Halloween Scene with regular images:

1) Use a Halloween Sentiment

I started with the Wonky Checkers stencil on lavender cardstock for the background mat. Then I stamped my sentiments & images using the Halloween Sentiments stamp set. This is my all-time FAVORITE stamp set for Halloween sentiments. There's a good mix of designs and words.

I masked off the images so I could ink a light shade of the Wonky Checkers stencil.

2. Use Halloween Colors

I colored up my images with Copic Markers using some of my favorite Halloween colors: purple, green, and orange.

3. Use small Halloween Images from other sets

To finish my scene, I added some smaller images from Boo Crew & Boo Sheet stamp sets. The pumpkin, snail and trick-or-treat Jack-O-Lantern are brought in from these other sets.

Then I cut the panel with the scalloped frame die from the EIEIO Frame Die Set to add to the background mat.

Such a fun and easy card to create! I hope you enjoyed this. Stay tuned for the BRAND NEW Alice release coming next week!!

See you then,

Kari
