Hello crafty friend, DT Randy here, back with a new card tutorial. Today, I am featuring the adorable Highland Cows and wanted to create another postcard, birthday card with them.
I first stamped out my images and used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color them. I then took the Hay Daze stamp set and stamped it out onto cardstock and used Copic Markers to the color the background.
I then die cut out the large postage die from the Postage, Seal and Shaker Collection die set from white cardstock. With this frame cut out, I then took my background and trimmed it down to fit behind it.
With the sentiment, I heat embossed it onto teal cardstock using embossing ink and white embossing powder. I then trimmed it down into a sentiment strip.
To assemble the card, I adhered the background behind the frame using liquid adhesive. I then took the three cows and added them to the background using foam tape.
To complete my card, I added the sentiment using foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and feel inspired to use these cows for a fun birthday card. All the products I used are linked above. Happy Crafting!
