Brewtiful....!!

Hey everyone it's Ashlee here with you today and I have a new card to share with you using the fabulous "Brewtiful" stamp set....

For this card I wanted to use some distress oxide ink to create an ink smooshed background so I got out my distress oxide in Twisted citron, pressed some of the ink down onto my media board and spirited it with some water. I then smooshed my card base all over the ink until I had the desired amount of ink. 

I also wanted to add some embossed details to my background and the WOW! ink refill tool is perfect for that. This refill has a roller ball attached to it so you can scribble embossing ink directly onto your card base...

I had a basic idea of where I wanted to put my images so I made my scribbles on the base in areas where I knew it would show out from the image...

Scribble, tip on embossing powder (I used Peridot - Tracy Scott exclusive WOW! powder), tip off excess and then heat emboss!!

Once all my background was finished I stamped on the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo black ink, this is the same Ink I stamped my brewtiful image in...

I coloured up the image using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers :

- Earth brown 

- Gold brown 

- Citrus green 

- Dark red

- Brown grey

Once it was all coloured I added it to the card base with some foam tape to add dimension and then finished it all of with a touch of Crater lake sequins.
