Clean & simple cards are always a favorite of mine, especially during the busy holiday season, and this Christmas card came together quickly while still feeling polished and fun. I reached for the I Believe Stamp Set and let the sentiment take center stage, building the entire design around it for an easy layout that’s perfect for mass cardmaking.
A Fresh Take on a Holiday Classic
For this card, I stamped the sentiment from the I Believe Stamp Set in a soft pink ink right in the center of the card front, then surrounded it with the playful underwear images stamped in a dark brown ink. Instead of traditional red and green, I chose a nontraditional yet seasonal color palette, which is one of my favorite ways to make Christmas cards feel fresh year after year. A subtle drop shadow added to the images gives the card just enough depth while still keeping that clean & simple look we all love.
Finishing Touches That Make a Difference
One of my go-to tricks for clean designs is creating a custom mat layer by lightly coloring the edges of white cardstock to frame the card panel—it adds definition without distracting from the stamped images.
A few white gel pen highlights and a touch of sparkle on the images bring everything together and add that little “something extra” without overwhelming the design.
