Hello! Kari here, today I have two new cards and a video to share! I'm making a congrats card with the NEW Fashionista set.
Watch the video below or on YouTube: (all links are listed at the video on YouTube)
I first started with a frame die, this time I thought the Hi Swirl Frame Die was PERFECT for these cards. I cut it out with both black and pink metallic cardstock.
Next, I used the Hi Swirl Frame Placement Stencil as a mask over the outside of the frame...and stamped the City Life stamp inside that stencil. For the other card, I inked over the Cheetah stencil in a light pink. You will want to watch the video to see the details on how to do this! (so much easier to show in a video than explain in words...Lol)

I used two images from the Fashionista Stamp set...choosing ones where the main character looked dressed in high fashion! I colored them with Copic Markers and cut them out.
I used the same pink copic markers to color a strip of paper and stamped on "Dressed for Success" over that to create my sentiment for this card.

For the background on this card, I chose the Cheetah stencil and also used that mask stencil for the Hi Swirl Frame Die stencil.
To create the "congrats" sentiment, I cut out stickers from the Modern Typeset Frame Die alphabet. (To make stickers, simply add double sided adhesive onto the back of metallic cardstock. Cut out the letters you want, and peel them off the backer like stickers!)
The Modern Typeset Placement stencil is FABULOUS for getting those letters lined up and spaced just right.

I hope you enjoyed these cards today. They are perfect for that fashionista in your life, or someone who just got a new job or promotion!
I'll be back soon with more cards to share.
Kari
