Creating A Little Chaos in a Card

Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, back with a new blog post. Today, I wanted to highlight an older stamp set that I have been wanting to create with for quite some time now, the Twister stamp set

The stamp set features a twister that has unfortunately lifted up a mailbox, a fence and a cow, oh my! With the cow being a part of the image, I thought it would pair perfectly with the Hay There stamp set.

I first took an A2 panel and stamped the top portion of the farm image in the Hay There stamp set onto the bottom of the panel. I then took the image of the twister and stamped it at the top of the panel.

I then took the clouds that are a part of the Hay There stamp set and stamped them repeatedly on either side of the twister.

Since this was mainly a single layer card, I did not have to fussy cut any images and used Copic Markers to color the entire scene.

Once I finished coloring the scene, I took the sentiment and heat embossed it onto pink cardstock using embossing ink and white embossing powder. I then trimmed it down and added foam tape to the back to adhere it to the card panel.

I loved being able to create this scene with both stamp sets. The scene really reminds of me of the Wizard of Oz. The stamp sets are linked above and can be found in the shop here. Happy Crafting!
