Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here back with a new card and tutorial. I have been going through all my sets and realized I have not created a scene for the image of the mischievous cat playing with the toilet paper in the On a Roll stamp set. I thought it would be fun to create a bathroom scene for this cat.
I first stamped out my images from the On a Roll and the toilet from the Misery Loves Company stamp set. I used Copic markers to color them and fussy cut them out. I did stamp out the portion of the toilet paper several times so I could create more of a chaos for the scene.
I then took an A2 panel and drew a room outline using a fineliner like so:
I took some masking tape and adhered them near the bottom lines so that I could work on the floor. With the Perspective Floor Stencil, I blended it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide.
I then blended the walls with Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxides. With white watercolor, I splattered it across the wall to give the walls more texture.
Using embossing ink and white embossing powder, I heat embossed the sentiment onto purple cardstock and trimmed it down. I then die cut out the word 'roll' using the alphabet dies from the Eieio Frame die set from green cardstock.
To assemble my card, I adhered all the elements onto the card panel using liquid adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial today. All the products I used are linked above and can be found in the shop. Happy crafting!
