Hello crafty friends! Davina here on the blog, sharing a card I made using the Fall Bouquet stamp set. I made a very traditionally colored card, using the large floral image from the set, and not adding the stem . I usually don’t make floral cards, but these were so beautiful, and the berries and large leaves were too irresistible.
I stamped the bouquet and colored the image using Copic markers. I tried to stick with very traditional colors. Once my coloring was complete I fussy cut the arrangement by hand, and heat embossed a hand cut tag, using gold embossing powder.
It’s no secret that I love using patterned paper, I searched through my collection and found a simple fall plaid that matched my bouquet perfectly. I layered it over some orange cardstock, and added a smaller layer of gold splattered vellum on top to build my focal point.
I adhered the flowers then wrapped a piece of rustic twine around the lower portion and tied my tag on top. I did add a piece of foam tape under the tag to hold it in place, but popped up. I finished this off with a few gold jewels scattered around. This came together so easy and quick, and I think it looks very classy.
Thank you for stopping by,
