Floral Queen Card

Today I have a floral watercolor card that uses the Miss Ink Stamps Queen of Hearts stamp set and the Gardenia stamp set.  I do love watercolor and felt that the loose color would pair well with a copic colored image that is clean and neat.

First I took a panel of Tim Holtz 4x6 watercolor paper panel and using my Misti, I stamped floral images from the Gardenia stamp set in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then loosely watercolored the flowers with the peeled paint Distress crayon and the festive berries Distress ink. The white spaces were colored with some tattered rose Distress Ink.  I then sprayed it with water containing pearlized powder to create an even more loose and flowing background.  I then sprayed dots of gold Peerless watercolor all over.

I then colored the Queen from the Queen of Hearts stamp set primarily with R22, R35 and R46. I adhered her in place, heat embossed a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments stamp set and added some sequins. Thank you for stopping by!
