Going Mad Card

Going Mad Card

CBK2-May 3

Today I'm using several new stamp sets from Miss Ink, along with one older stamp set!  This A2 card uses the Alice, Forest Path, Wonderland Wisdom and Woodgrain Background stamp sets.

To make the card, I die cut a slimline scalloped panel (Trinity Stamps) and adjusted it to be on an A2 card.  First I stamped the Woodgrain Background stamp in walnut stain distress oxide ink, masked the hole, and then I ink blended brushed corduroy over the entire stamped image and added walnut stain ink at the edges.  I colored the hole with 2 Stampin Up ink blending markers in light and dark crumb cake.  The cheshire cat from the Wonderland Wisdom stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink, heat embossed with Gina K white embossing powder and then the teeth were colored in with a white gel pen as seen below.

The card panel was ink blended with both walnut stain and brushed corduroy distress ink. I fussy cut all the images from the Alice and Forest Path stamp sets and ran a black copic marker around all the edges to give them a finished look.  I used W0, W00, R35 and R22 for the rabbit, Y21, YR21, B63 and E00 for Alice and E37 and YG67 for the sign post.  I hope that this will inspire you to look for using older sets with newer ones!

Thank you for stopping by! CBK1
