Happig birthday

What's shakin' bacon? I'm sooie't on you, Punny Farm Pigs stamp set.

Vanessa here today to share with you this card I created using the Punny Farm Pigs stamp set and the Quatrefoil Ins & Outs stencil set.

Although I did use dimensional foam tape to attach my card front panel to the card base, this is a nice and flat A2 card that is easy for mailing and no extra postage.

I love the Ins & outs stencils. For this card, I chose to only use the frame piece. 

I created my background by inksmooshing with oxide inks: cracked pistachio, worn lipstick, and dusty concord onto watercolor paper. After it was dry, I stenciled the Quatrefoil frame onto it using Seedless Preserves oxide ink. 

The rest is stamping in the images and creating masks with masking paper to overlap images and keep everything inside the frame. I colored in the images with prisma colored pencils. The piggy's hat and cupcake were stamped, colored, and fussy cut from scrap cardstock and glued on.

To finish it off, I stamped Happig birthday under the frame and added a few more stamped confetti pieces, colored in.
