Beata (@craftybee34) December 16, 2020 at 6:17 PM i love both of your cards! so fun!
Congratulations, Beata, you are the winner of a $25 gift card to Miss Ink Stamps- please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to claim your prize!
Today I have a card that uses the Happy New Year stamp with a background made with the Leafy Green stencil. I wanted to celebrate 2020 almost being over, so I made the card very festive; although it has a timely sentiment, the stamp set is so versatile for any celebration, so I hope you will not think of it as an exclusively New Year's stamp set.
First I taped the Leafy Green stencil to a card base (110 lb Neenah solar white cardstock and ink blended distress oxide ink scattered straw and spun sugar; I started with spun sugar in the middle and faded out before adding scattered straw over it. I then immediately added cosmic shimmer sparkle texture paste in aurora shimmer all over the panel. I set this aside to dry overnight.
I then die cut all the images from the Happy New Year stamp with my Brother ScanNCut2 and then did some simple copic coloring. The champagne bottle was colored with G43 and Y28, the cork was colored with Light and Dark Crumbcake (Stampin UP) and the glasses were colored with BG000 and Y00.
I die cut a vellum panel (Stampin Up) with a stitched rectangle die I had in my stash, adhered everything in place, added a few clear embellishments (Trinity Stamps) and some ribbon (Stampin Up) to pull the entire card together.
I hope that you like it! Thank you for stopping by and congratulations Beata!
