Hello crafters! Ali here, and Welcome to the Miss Ink Blog. Sometimes the smaller images in sets just appeal to me and that was the case with these little chicks from the Punny Farm Goats and the corn cobs from Keeping It Rural. Also, keeping to 1 or two images in multiples gives focus to a card and makes a nice impact.
To make this card, I stamped out the corn and chicks a few times, cut them out and coloured them using my Copics. The colouring on these is nice and simple, too, so you don’t have to have huge supplies for this card.
Distress inks: Sky – Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, Grass – Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage
Copics: Chicks – Y06, Y02, Corn – YG61, G21
I coloured the base card with pink and orange distress oxide inks. I coloured another piece of white card with green distress oxide and used a lawn edge die to cut some lawn. I adhered the two background pieces to a white card base after cutting it out with a stitched rectangle die. Then I adhered the corn and chicks, popping some up with 3D foam. I stamped and white embossed the cute sentiment on black card.
Thanks for joining us for more creations and inspiration with the fabulous Miss Inks products
