Hello! It's Kari with a new video and card to share using the Magnolia Sympathy stamp set and Love is in the Air stamp set. I thought these sets would look so pretty together, and when pairing them with some mixed media techniques, I think it's a beautiful match!

This is a fun project, and it starts with some watercolor cardstock. Next, stamp your floral images from the Magnolia Sympathy stamp set using Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
Now comes the fun part! Use Color Bursts to make the background look like a watercolor print, adding extra color inside the embossed flowers (to give them a darker look). See the video to get the whole tutorial on how to do this.
When the background is dry, add some stenciling with Distress Oxides over the top (avoiding the flowers). I used the Leafy Swirls Stencil, but you could also use the Cool Beans stencil and get a really cool look as well!
Stamp your focal image from the Love is in the Air stamp set onto the center portion of the Magnolia Frame Die set. Watercolor the heart and add some glittery stickles for fun.
