Making the World Beary Colorful

Making the World Beary Colorful

Hello everyone! Justin here and today on the blog I am showing off how I merged a couple stamp sets and stencils together to make this beary special rainbow card! Below is a list of Miss Ink Stamps Products Used!

Miss Ink Stamps Products Used in this Project:
Jungle Friends Stamp Set
Sunshine & Rainbows Stamp Set
A2 Masking Stencil Set
Rabbit Hole Stencil
Sparkles Stencil

This card was a lot of fun to put together. I colored up the Bear from the Jungle Friends set in Copic Markers and fussy cut them out for later.

Taking an A2-sized panel of blending cardstock, I placed one of the A2 Masking Stencils over it and blended a rainbow ombré using Distress Oxide Inks. I used: Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina & Shaded Lilac.

I then placed the Rabbit Hole Stencil on top of the A2 Masking Stencil, and blended a darker rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks over it. I used: Picked Raspberry, Crackling Campfire, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I removed the Rabbit Hole stencil.

Next, I placed the Sparkles Stencil on top and used Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel over it to get some subtle sparkling going on. I set the panel aside to dry entirely.

Once dry, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Sunshine & Rainbows Stamp Set in White Embossing Powder and trimmed it to a sentiment strip. I used foam tape to adhere my bear and sentiment to my card, and then adhered some iridescent bubble embellishments to finish my card off!
