Merry Christmas to all of my crafty friends! Davina here on the blog. Today is Christmas Day and I’m sharing a peace and joy filled card, using the beautiful Little Angel stamp set.
I had some blush pink and moss green pattern papers that was so subtle and non traditional and I just love it. The minimalist wreaths in the background really let the images shine. I created some die cut layers and inkblended a small square in a soft mint green. I splattered with moss green and red to bring in some of the background colors. Then I adhered my stamped and copic colored images.
I 
masked and selectively inked the small words of the sentiment before heat embossing, then used a word die cut for the “joy”. I layered the sentiment in the upper portion and surrounded with glittery snowflakes to match the ground.
I love how simple this card was to create while giving the impression of a more intricate design. These images are so peaceful and pretty that I wanted them to really be the star. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful New Year!
