Hello crafty friends, DT Randy here, welcome back to the blog. Miss Ink just had a new release recently and it is full of fun and fashion! I love when DT Kari creates her postage collections for a project so I wanted to do one for the new Fashion collection.

I was inspired to create a series of "magazine" covers that features the main characters from this iconic fashion film.
I first die cut out my mini postage frames from the Postage, Seal and Shaker Collection die set from gold cardstock.

I then took white cardstock and trimmed it down to fit behind each frame. I then stamped on the images from the Fashionista stamp set. I also stamped them onto masking tape and fussy cut those out.
I adhered the mask over the stamped image and then stamped portions of the skyline from the City Life stamp set.
I then used Copic Markers to color the images and the background. Once completed, I took the large 'RUNWAY' word stamp from the Trendsetter stamp set and stamped them onto each "magazine."

I then either adhered heat embossed the sentiments onto each cover with gold embossing powder or onto a sentiment strip and then adhered that onto the cover.
To complete the mini postage, I adhered the mini panels behind each postage frame.
Have you checked out the new release yet? You can find the newest stamps and dies in the Miss Ink Stamps shop here. Happy Crafting!
