I was playing with some alcohol inks and decided this one made a great winter night sky! So I used it along with the Sparkles Stencil and some Luna Paste and those adorable Penguins from the new Ice Day stamp set!
When you're working with alcohol inks you have to be willing to give up some control. Sometimes it does what you want and other times it just doesn't...lol
The great thing about them is you can just keep working it. Add a little more color here and there and some blending solution and hit it with the blower to keep moving them around. Even when I was done with this one it wasn't right for the project I meant it for... but I picked it up later and decided it would be perfect with some added stars...
I used the Sparkles Stencil and applied the glittery gold Luna Paste through it. While it dried, I stamped, cut and colored my images and when they were finished, the background was all set! I used that cute photo frame from Trinity and created a scene. I added a tree and moon from the Bear Hugs set.
