Party Fan Celebration

Party Fan Celebration

Hello Friends! Emily here (@popsofpaper) sharing a two card designs and a bonus card using the Pinata Party Background stamp set and the sentiment-packed Everyday Sentiments. When I first received the background set, I was immediately drawn to the party fan images so I decided to turn them into the focal point for my cards. I love the look of party fan wall backdrops and used this concept as my inspiration.

To create the left-side pattern, I first stamped the largest party fan image in the boldest in color. Then overlapping the largest pattern, I added in the smaller party fan image with the second “boldest” color. Then I filled in some of the open white space with the lightest ink color. For extra pop I added matching embellishments or Nuvo Drops to the center of the party fans. To complete the cards, I added Congratulations and Birthday Wishes sentiments and adhered the card panels to a black card stock base.

VersaFine Clair Ink Combination 1: Charming Pink, Summertime & Cheerful with Confetti Embellishments for the center of the fans.

VersaFine Clair Ink Combination 2: Warm Breeze, Purple Violet and Verdant with Nuvo Drops in Vintage Bohemian Teal, Jewel Pale Periwinkle and Jewel Key Lime.

As a bonus project, I realized that party fans reminded me of fireworks so I created a 4th of July inspired card for the upcoming celebration. I followed the same stamping process as above but changed up the color combination. I used VersaFine Clair Ink in Tulip Red, Blue Belle and Morning Mist with Shiny Confetti Embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the Cheerful Clean and Simple Celebration cards and you’re inspired to stretch your stamps in new ways!

Big Paper Hugs!

Emily
