Party with the Pigs Card

Today I wanted to make another slim line card and as I always have a need for birthday cards, I decided to use the adorable Punny Farm Pigs, Streamers and Everyday Sentiments stamp sets to create one.  

1. First I made a slim line card with the dimensions 8.5 inches by 3.5 inches out of Neenah solar white cardstock.  I cut a 8.5 inch by 3.5 inch panel and 8 inch by 3 inch panel out of Lawn Fawn cardstock (Spiffy Speckles & Perfectly Springtime Plaid).  I recently got a die that cuts "photos" from Ellen Hutson- so I prepared 3 for the card.
2. All images were stamped with Gina K black amalgam ink onto Neenah solar white cardstock and then die cut prior to coloring with copic markers.  For the squares within the photos, I stamped the images, created masks, fussy cut the masks and applied them prior to ink blending with a custom distress oxide ink color I had made (few drops of mowed lawn put into a lot of china blue).
3. I then copic colored all the images (pigs- R00, bow & hats-RV17, cake & present-E50, streamers & duck- Y21 & YR21, balloons- BG11, BG10 & R30) and applied some glitter paste.  Finally I added some sequins and some gold string to finalize the design.
