Slimline Castle Card
Today's card was inspired by a recent card from Leanne West. I had to try the technique of stamping and just ink blending over the image rather coloring it in with copics. This slimline uses the Queen's Castle, Queen of Hearts and Painting the Roses stamp sets.
To make the card:
I die cut a slimline panel using slimline dies from Trinity Stamps, stamped the images from Queen's Castle & Painting the Roses stamp sets in River Rock ink (Lawn Fawn) and then ink blended distress oxide ink in spun sugar and mowed lawn over the entire panel.  I added some copic marker to the bushes and then glued the embellishments Roses are Red on the bushes by the castle and in front of the castle.
I stamped images from the Queen of Hearts and Painting the Roses stamp sets in River Rock ink, fussy cut them and then copic colored them in R46 and R35. Â It is important to trace the outside of the images with some color, as it allows the images to blend into the scene more easily. White gel pen marks add more interest to the images.
I finished the card up by adding some grass and a stamped sentiment banner.
Thank you for stopping by!
