Hi friends! I’m Lauren from Lauren Taylor Made, and I’m thrilled to share a sneak peek into the upcoming release of Magical Collection products! I’m using the new sets Magical World, Snow Wizard and Horizon Pines with their coordinating dies to create a magical winter card. If you’d like a step-by-step view of the process, make sure to check out my YouTube video linked at the end of this blog post!

I started by stamping, coloring, and die-cutting my images using OLO markers. The castle, snowman, and trees came together beautifully to form the centerpiece of this winter wonderland. I also die-cut a woodgrain frame from kraft cardstock to provide a rustic touch and layered it over an ink-blended background. The colors Weathered Wood and Stormy Sky gave the sky a moody, wintry feel, while Tumbled Glass added a subtle gradient to the frozen lake.

To assemble the scene, I used masking tape to separate the sky, lake, and snowy ground. Once the background was ready, I adhered the die-cut elements with a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive for dimension. The snowman’s scarf and hat were inspired by my favorite wizarding house colors, adding a touch of personalization to the design. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” in crisp black ink, bubble-cutting it, and attaching it to the card. A few highlights with a white gel pen brought the characters and landscape to life, adding extra charm to the final look.
This card is perfect for winter birthdays, Christmas greetings, or just a fun, fandom-inspired surprise. I hope you enjoyed crafting along with me today! For more details and a full tutorial, be sure to watch my video on YouTube. Happy crafting, and I’ll see you in the next one!
