Soft Pastel Card Using Layering Stencils

Soft Pastel Card Using Layering Stencils

Hi there!

It’s Jenni and I’m back with another project for the Miss Ink Stamps Video Design Team.

For my video, I used a mix of products including layering stencils and two stamp sets, to create a soft pastel card.

I first inked my background shape and frame using the Ins and Outs: Hollywood stencil with Spun Sugar and Black Soot Distress inks.

Then with the Ins and Outs stencil back in place to protect the white space, I added the Flower Shower layering stencils on top to create my pattern.

I added Ranger Liquid Pearls to my flower centers and set it aside to dry.

Then I stamped out an adorable bird image from the Pretty Bird stamp set and colored it in using Copic Markers.

I heat embossed my sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments Stamp Set, onto some black card-stock and then trimmed it out into a banner shape.

I brought everything together with a few additional items and attached it to a white card base.
