Hi there!
Today I'm sharing a bright and colorful spring card using some of the adorable bunny images from the Springtime Bunnies stamp set.
To get started, I stamped out my images onto white 80 lb. card stock using some alcohol friendly ink, then I colored them in using Copic markers.
Fur: BV0000, BV000, BV00
Ears: R20, R30
Carrot: G20, G00, YR12, YR14
Next, I fussy cut out my images and started on my background. I brought in another piece of white card stock, the Art Deco stencil, and several Distress Oxide inks.
I blended my colors through the stencil and then spritzed it with my Distress Sprayer to create some texture, picking up the excess water with a paper towel.
Then I set my background aside to dry and picked out a sentiment from the stamp set. I chose "to somebunny special" and heat embossed it with some white detail embossing powder onto a strip of coordinating purple card stock.
I trimmed down my ink blended panel to 5.25" x 4" and layered it onto an A2 purple card stock panel and then added all of my images and additional embellishments to the card front.
