I wanted to play with Distress Oxide Sprays and stencils, so I picked two Miss Ink Stencils that allowed me to experiment a bit. The Oopsy Daisy Stencil is more chunky with less "stenciling" area and the Basket Case Stencil is more detailed with more open areas. I picked three colors of Distress Oxide Sprays for each stenciled background and gave each color a couple of spritzes and set them aside to dry.
I wanted to keep the cards simple, but a bit fun and whimsical, so I grabbed the Tea Party and Unbirthday Stamp Sets. I LOVE how the sentiments from Unbirthday fit right on top of the tea table! I colored the tables to match the stenciled backgrounds and cut them out with my scissors.
I added the images on top of my cards with foam tape and that's it! Let me know which background you like better!
Stencils with Distress Oxide Sprays
I'm a tidy crafter in all ways - I take something out, I put it right back, everything has a place ... and I don't like ink on my fingers! Haha! But today I got good and inky with some Miss Ink Stamps stencils and Distress Oxide Sprays!
