Hello, Miss Ink friends!! I have a Halloween card to share with you using the fun bridge fold!! This folds flat to fit in an A2 size envelope, but pops up to create a 3-dimensional scene!! I thought the Boo Crew stamp set would be perfect for this type of card!!
Let's get started!!
I began by stamping the images from Boo Crew onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and coloring them with Copics. I used the following colors: W6, W5. W3, W1, C3, C1, C0, C00, V17, V15, V12, YG17, YG25, YG01, YR18, YR07, YR04, YR24, Y08, Y21, Y00.
Next, I fussy cut the images.
For the background, I ink-blended Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved pumpkin, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks onto two panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. The larger panel measures 5 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall and the smaller is 4 1/4" wide. I splattered the panels with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel.
Next, I scored the larger panel 3/4" and 1 1/2" from each side, folded on the score lines and pressed the fold lines with a bone folder. I also scored the moon and trees image enough to adhere to the inside area of the background panel. The smaller ink-blended panel was hand cut into a hill and the sentiment, also from Boo Crew, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
Then all I had to do was adhere all of the elements as shown.
I really love how this turned out!! The bridge fold adds extra depth to the card that you just can't achieve with a one dimensional card!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week!!
