Step Up Your Cardmaking with Brenda - Mini Slimline

Hello, Miss Ink friends and happy Tuesday!! I have another installment of Step Up Your Cardmaking and today we're making a mini slimline card!!

I began by stamping some of the images and sentiment from the Climbing Rose Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I fussy cut them out (you can also use an electronic die-cut machine).

For the background, I blended Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock using the Alternating Dot Stencil Set. I die-cut it with a mini slimline die, as well as a panel of pink cardstock with the larger die.

From there, I adhered both panels to a mini slimline card base, then added the leaves, roses and sentiment with a combination of liquid and foam adhesive.

I love how the Alternating Dot Stencil Set allowed me to bring in both colors of my floral images.

That's it for me today!! Thanks for dropping by!!  Have a wonderful day!!

Brenda
