Textured Sunset Highland Cow Postcard

Hello! It's Kari and I'm here with a new card and video! Today I'm creating a textured sunset Highland Cow Postcard using some favorites.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

I cut the outer frame and the inner panel with the Postage Stamp & Seal die set. I set the frame aside while I worked on the sunset blend. Oxide inks make it very easy to blend out a sunset and I show you colors and technique in the video above!

I stamped on the insignia with the Postmarks stamp set in a light grey color...so it's there, but it's subtle. Then I used the Kaleidoscope stencil to ink on some subtle inks...and then add some Distress Embossing Glaze in random spots for texture and a little bit of shine!

Those Highland cows are too cute...I love the little family! I ended up using all 3 on this card along with a few little bluebirds.

I added a faux wax seal made from metallic cardstock, and inked around the frame with grey ink to make it stand out from the card base.

Thanks for stopping by!

Kari
