Hi there, Christine here with an early Halloween card! I've been dying to use this stencil since I got it last year and I decided to use it early this year. It is the multi-layered stencil called Halloween Hill. There are so many layers and so many options- it is really a super-well thought out stencil.
I used a number of distress oxide colors and 2 colors of Simon Hurley paste to achieve the look. For the sky I first used faded jeans and then inked uncharted mariner over that. The hill is purely black soot.
For the lower sky I first used shaded lilac and then decided it needed to be darker, so I layered dusty concord over that. The moon is purely scattered straw and the building and trees are purely villainous potion.
I used Simon Hurley Lunar Paste Cookie Dough paste for the everything, but the sentiment and as you can see it look different based on the background color- the house lights have almost a rosy glow probably because I didn't fully let the color dry (the hill and sky were already very dry).
Finally I used Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in refined copper for the sentiment. So many perfect sentiments are included in the stencil! I wanted some shiny elements so I used a bat and pumpkin embellishment set I had in my stash for the bats and pumpkins. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
