Two Stained Glass Techniques with Castle Arches Die set

Two Stained Glass Techniques with Castle Arches Die set

Hello, it's Kari with 2 new cards and a video to share! Today I am sharing two Stained Glass Techniques with the Castle Arches Die set.

Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube:

The first card I share is a light up Stained Glass card! I also share a trick for lining up the windows just right (which I did NOT achieve in the card below...LOL. But that's how we learn to do it right.)

This card is made with silver metallic cardstock for the arches and the pillars...can't tell? That's because I treated it with a bit of Black Soot Distress Paint! See how in the video. I love the look because it looks a bit black and marbled, but when you hold in the light, you can see some of the metallic shining through!

I just adore those Stained Glass windows in this Castle Arches die set! Be sure to watch the video to see how I made the Stained Glass TWO different ways.

The character is from the So Charming stamp set. I used the coordinating die set to cut him out, but then I also cut the books away (which I used in a different project).

I hope you enjoyed this project! I'll be back with more cards to share soon.
