Watercolor coffee card

Watercolor coffee card

Today I watercolored the delightful Springtime Bannersand BrewtifulStamp sets.  I tend to put a lot of images in my cards and wanted to keep it more simple, with ample white space this time.

I used Distress Ink Watercolor paper for the circular panel and the rectangle panel. I experimented quite a bit before deciding to stamp the coffee mug and steam in Ink on 3- fade out no-line coloring.  I stamped and watercolored all the leaves in Distress Oxide ink in bundled sage and stamped and watercolored the flowers in Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar.  For the final sparkly touches, I used the Gansai Tambi gem colors in Gem Green, Gem Pink and Yellow Gold.  I used a C00 copic marker to provide some shading on the coffee cup. Easy peasy!
